The Macau famous locally brewed Blissful BomBooch Kombucha was born in 2014, at the The Blissful Carrot Vegetarian Eatery in Macau it is the product of years of experimentation, fine-tuning and testing by friends and family.
We have over 5 years of experience sourcing only the best possible ingredients to create the purest quality products, in the brewing process we only use: organic sustainable sourced teas, organic spices, artisan blended herbs, fresh pressed juices, unrefined cane sugar, and vibrant live probiotic cultures.

History of Kombucha

When you read or hear about the wonders of probiotic foods, a little drink known as “Kombucha” always seems to pop up, along with the more familiar sauerkraut and yogurt.
The wonders of kombucha are certainly nothing new. Ancient cultures have been fermenting things for thousands of years as a form of food preservation.
Although it’s the popularity has skyrocketed over the past 10 years, its first surfaced in parts of China as far back as 220 B.C. It also has a long history in Tibetan, Japanese and Korean cultures.

They referred to the fermented tea as “The Tea of Immortality” because of its vast health benefits.
But, what is Kombucha, exactly?
